Delivery
Free delivery within 50 miles
Got delivery questions?
Free Delivery if you are within 50 miles of one of our 7 locations. If you are outside the 50 mile radius, delivery pricing depends on where you’re located, the size of your shed, and the conditions at your property. We’ll let you know the delivery cost before your shed is scheduled.
Make sure the delivery path is clear and accessible, and that the area where your shed will sit is properly prepared. Remove vehicles, debris, branches, and other obstacles, and make sure the ground is firm enough for our delivery equipment.
Every property is different, and the space needed depends on the size of your shed and the route to its final location. Gates, fences, trees, utility lines, tight turns, and other obstacles can all affect delivery.
If you’re unsure whether we can get your shed into your backyard, ask us before delivery. We’d be happy to help you figure it out.
We’ll let you know when someone needs to be present for your delivery. We recommend being available whenever possible so we can confirm the placement of your shed before it’s set.
Often, yes. Our delivery equipment is designed to navigate many residential properties, but the size of the gate, shed, equipment, and available maneuvering space all matter.
If you have a narrow gate or unusual access, let us know ahead of time.
Safety comes first. If the ground is too soft, muddy, or saturated for our equipment, your delivery may need to be rescheduled. We’ll work with you to find another suitable delivery date.
Leveling options depend on your shed and site conditions. If your site requires leveling or additional materials, we’ll let you know what is needed and whether additional charges apply.
Your shed needs a stable, properly prepared place to sit. Depending on the shed and your property, that could include gravel, concrete, blocks, or another suitable foundation.
If you’re not sure what your shed needs, talk to us before delivery.
Possibly. We can work with many different types of properties, but steep slopes, uneven terrain, and difficult access can affect whether delivery is possible and whether additional site preparation is needed.
Some sheds can be relocated, depending on their construction, condition, size, and accessibility. Contact us with the details of your existing shed and we’ll let you know what may be possible.
We’ll need a clear path to the shed’s final location. Please let us know about anything that could interfere with delivery, including low branches, fences, landscaping, utility lines, or tight turns.
If accessing your property requires crossing someone else’s property, you’ll need to get permission from the property owner before delivery.
That’s what we’re here for. If you’re unsure about access, site preparation, or whether your shed can reach its intended location, contact Bitterroots before delivery.

Before We Arrive
Before delivery, take a few minutes to check:
-
Clear the path. Move vehicles, trailers, toys, equipment, branches, and other obstacles.
-
Check your access. Make sure gates and other entry points are wide enough for your building and delivery equipment.
-
Prepare the site. Your shed should have a firm, stable place to sit. Gravel, concrete, blocks, or properly packed ground may work depending on your building and site.
-
Think about overhead clearance. Watch for low tree branches, power lines, roof overhangs, and other obstacles.
-
Keep the ground firm. Soft or saturated ground can make delivery unsafe and may require us to reschedule.
-
Know what’s underground. Let us know about septic systems, irrigation, buried lines, cables, or other underground features near the delivery path.
What Delivery Day Looks Like
When delivery day arrives, our driver will bring your shed to your property and work with you to get it positioned where you’ve planned.
We’ll take into account the access to your property, the terrain, and the final placement of the building.
Once the shed is in position, we’ll make sure it’s sitting properly on the prepared site. If leveling is part of your delivery, our driver will handle the leveling needed for the site.
The goal is simple: get your shed where you want it and leave you ready to put it to work.

Give Us a Clear Path
Shed delivery equipment can do a lot, but it still needs room to work. Before delivery, look at the entire route — not just the driveway.
Check for:
- Narrow gates
- Fences
- Sharp turns
- Low branches
- Utility lines
- Steep or uneven areas
- Soft, muddy, or recently watered ground
If we’re crossing property that isn’t yours, you’ll need to have permission from the property owner before delivery.
